Cellular Data Modem CM 900
The Data Connect Cellular Module 900 is an OEM module that uses the Advance Mobile Phone System (AMPS) cellular network for data transmission. AMPS is the cellular system used in Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, and parts of Africa. The AMPS System isn’t compatible with the GSM system used in North America, Europe and Asia.
The DCE CM-900 has a RS232 Interface and supports the popular AT command set normally associated with modems.
The DCE CM-900 is used by OEM customers in following areas
- Packet Data Radio
- SCADA and Telemetry System
- Remote Gas / Water / Electric Meter Reading
- Factory Automation Systems
- Vending Machines
The DCE CM-900 uses non-volatile memory to store configuration. Therefore, the DCE SM-900 doesn’t require configuration before startup.
